Young Artists
This annual Young Artists Expo & Competition celebrates young artists by giving them a chance to exhibit their art in a public forum. This year, artwork will be displayed at the Riverside Art Museum during an in-person event.
The exhibition invites artists between the ages 8-18 to submit artwork created from their own thoughts, feelings, observations, and experiences.
A variety of media is displayed, including physical paintings, drawings, and mixed media.
Winning artists will be announced the day of the in-person event. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram @give4kidz for updates.

Spotlight Artist
Carmen Polan
"Growing up, I never considered myself artistic and lacked confidence, especially surrounded by a talented family. It wasn’t until my late teens, during challenging moments, that I found comfort in art. A college art class unexpectedly launched my journey when a professor submitted one of my doodles to the gallery—it won and sold. Though I supported myself painting murals, the work felt empty until I chose to create for joy rather than profit. Over time, I developed my style, often shaped by personal pain, which resonated deeply with others. I discovered healing, self-acceptance, and a renewed passion through this process. My recent work features quirky, misunderstood monsters—symbols of the desire for love despite appearances. Today, I create art to express, connect, and soothe, and I hope others can find similar peace through creative expression."
