Young Authors Competition

The Young Authors Competition is designed to honor exceptional writing by authors ages 9- 18.

Prizes
All writing submissions will be published on the Give 4 Kidz website. Winners of the contest will have their short stories published in the Press-Enterprise newspaper. Winners will also receive a $100 Amazon Gift Card & an Authors Tool Kit!

Age Group categories:
   ~ 9 to 11
   ~ 12 to 14
   ~ 15 to 18
One winner from each age group will be chosen.

What do I do next?
1. Print & email permission form to [email protected] 
2. Read contest rules  
3. Write an original short story (150 to 1500 words).
4. Submit story by September 15th, 12am-midnight        PST  via email to [email protected]  
5. Follow us on social media for updates and                    announcements (links at bottom of page)
6. Attend the live event
